Kennedy has been with British Swim School for 4 months, but has been teaching swim lessons for a year with a previous company. Her favorite moments while teaching are when kids move up from a level because they get super happy and it’s always memorable. She also enjoys developing a relationship with her students, both children and adults. Kennedy’s favorite class to teach is Turtle 1, because they’re right in the middle of all the levels. They have just mastered their safety and independence skills in Minnow, and in Turtle 1 you get to see them understand how to swim and eventually turn into Sharks. Kennedy’s favorite part about working for British Swim School is gaining new swimming skills through the help of her team and teaching others.
Kennedy is currently attending her senior year of High School, and is a competitive All-Star Cheerleader. When she is not working or focusing on school and cheer, she likes to sleep whenever she can find a chance, as her schedule is usually packed. Kennedy is fluent in English and Spanish, can oddly move her right ear, and her favorite subject in school is ceramics. After High School, Kennedy would like to become a social worker to continue helping people, families, and communities in all sorts of ways. Giving back is something she truly values!
