Meet Lake County Instructor Lilli!

Lilli has been teaching swimming classes for about 3 years and is our newest addition to the British Swim School team, starting just a month ago. Previously teaching and helping classes at the place she learned how to swim herself, she is very excited to carry on her knowledge with us! Lilli enjoys swimming and having fun with kids. Her favorite class to teach is minnow, because most them are really young but they still try hard and she finds it adorable and a blast to work with. Lilli’s favorite thing about working with British Swim School is her coworkers, as she’s met so many great people and everyone is friendly!

When Lilli was younger, she would often watch swim teams practice and try to copy their moves, eventually practicing and learning the four basic strokes herself. She would also spend a lot of time around Boy Scouts, and has learned American Sign Language throughout her life. She’s not fluent yet, but has learned a lot through experience. Her favorite hobbies include swimming, biking, hanging out with friends, and anything music related. Lilli plays a bunch of instruments; her main focus is percussion, which is over 50 instruments itself, but Lilli also knows how to play clarinet, flute, piano, saxophone, trombone, trumpet,and ukulele. She’s currently attending High School, and enjoys being in band. Her favorite subject in school other than band is P.E.
or math. When Lilli finishes High School, her dream job would be an ASL interpreter, or a band director, as music has and always will be her passion. Welcome to the team Lilli!
