Ana has been an instructor for British Swim School for almost 3 years, and has loved the water since she was a child. Her mother felt it was important for her and her siblings to develop skills in the water, and took them all to lessons since they were babies. Because of her experience with swim lessons, and her swim teachers, Ana was inspired to start teaching others herself and joined the British Swim School team. Ana is passionate about helping her students progress and achieve goals. When her students achieve a goal they’ve been trying to reach, they all get really excited when they realize their potential and she finds that very rewarding. Ana’s favorite class to teach is Turtle 1, the beginner stroke level. Children are always awed when they realize they can kick on their back independently, and she enjoys that adorable, enlightening moment. Ana’s favorite aspect of British Swim School is our adamant attitude that we must do our best to enforce safety as our number one goal and nothing short of it. It’s a vision she respects and is happy to work for!
Ana is currently attending Harper College, and is majoring in Nursing. Her goal is to become a Registered Nurse (an RN) while she goes to medical school to become an Obstetrician. Her favorite subject is Science and considers herself quite nerdy. A strange fact about Ana is she is a die-hard caffeine person, and has been since her first taste of coffee at age 8. She has very few hobbies, but she does love to go on nature walks with her dog, playing spades with her family, spending time outdoors, and reading books
