Jazzmen has been with British Swim School for 2 years and is passionate about helping people learn, as well as learning from the people she meets. Her greatest strength is connecting with people and communicating, and her favorite part about working for British Swim School is knowing that she has helped many people learn to swim, and save themselves from any potential life threatening situations in the water.
Jazzmen’s favorite class to teach is Turtle 1, because she loves to see parents’ reaction to their child’s progress; seeing them go from rolling over, to actually swimming on their own!
Jazzmen is a mother who is graduating from Chicago State University in May 2019, with a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education. Her daughter, Mya, does not enjoy swimming as much her, and can’t swim yet. When she is not spending time with Mya, she enjoys bowling, singing, and sewing. She also has a strong passion for animals, particularly pit bulls. Jazzmen considers herself athletic, and her favorite class in school has always been Physical Education. Her dream job is to be a Physical Education teacher and to coach track and cross country.
When she was working at a summer camp before British Swim School, there was an incident where 2 kids were drowning at the same time, and only one lifeguard was nearby. She jumped in to save one of the children knowing nobody else could, and after that she knew she wanted to teach people to swim and be safe in the water. Jazzmen’s passion has led her to us and she’s hoping to have a positive impact on her students!
